  Web Application Development:
  My specialty is full life-cycle development of web based applications that utilize Microsoft technologies including Classic ASP and ASP.NET front-ends and SQL Server and Oracle back-ends. I am also skilled at graphic design and layout.
  
  Project Development:
  In addition to my skills as a developer, I also have experience in a variety of tasks related to project development. This includes: requirements gathering; development of PRD's, HLD's, and ERD's; functional and technical specifications; cost estimates; project proposals; project schedules; test plans; and various other project related documentation. Have also been involved in CMM/CMMI process improvements at several of my previous positions.

  Sr. Software Applications Developer
  November 2006–current
  
  Member of a small (2 people) IT software development staff for this Boeing facility at Williams-Gateway Airport in Mesa, AZ. Work at this facility involves software support and development of both web-based applications (in Classic ASP and ASP.NET) as well as client-server applications written in Visual Basic. Applications include shop floor applications used by Army Apache RESET, Air Force T-38, and Navy SRF programs as well as a variety of web-based internal support and process-flow applications. This facility utilizes LEAN processes and is currently implementing CMMI.

  Member of the web development team for this Tempe company that specializes in web-based property management software.  This application uses a Classic ASP front-end and an Oracle back-end.  Microsoft.NET is slowly being integrated into the application in various parts.  Work consists primarily of maintenance of existing code, product enhancements, as well as the development of some new features.  I am also a part of the team that is migrating the current system to a "next-generation" design.

  As part of the IT Computer and Programming Resources (CPR) Group, developed a variety of corporate Intranet applications using ASP and SQL Server; this included "start-to-finish" development on eight projects and code maintenance/enhancements on 10 other projects. This group is an internal web-consulting group within Intel, so our customers are other Intel departments throughout the world. Duties included the entire spectrum of development--from information gathering with the customer, development of a prototype, creation of requirements documents, in addition to my usual role as a developer doing coding, graphics design, testing, and deployment. During my time at Intel, was part of team instrumental in achieving a Level 3 CMM assessment through our adoption of many process improvements and standards. Primary development tool was Visual InterDev.

  February 1999-November 1999 
  
  As part of the web development team at SkyMall.com, was responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of this company's internal and external websites. These browser-based solutions are used both for orders via the web as well as for their internal call processing center. This development involved designing/maintaining middle-tier components in Visual Basic (COM), deploying them on a web server, and connecting them with a SQL Server backend using Active Server Pages. Features of the site include shopping carts, credit card verification, and other E-commerce related technologies. Helped implement various process improvements as our group focused on improving our CMM level. Primary development tools used were Visual InterDev and Visual Basic.

  Working for the AG Communication Systems division of Lucent Technologies, I was on the development team for a product called JusticeTrax LIMS-plus(tm), a commercial app that is the industry leading packaged used by law enforcement agencies, crime labs, and forensic scientists for laboratory case management and analysis. This application, written in Visual FoxPro, supports SQL Server, Oracle, and Foxpro native tables for its backend data. In addition to this development work in Visual FoxPro, I also assisted in the migration of this app from VFP to a component based (COM) application with the GUI and business rules written in Visual Basic. Adoption of CMM principles was also a concern during this migration and we achieved a Level 2 assessment.

  Co-founder of this Internet company which began as a web site design firm and has expanded into development of dynamic database driven sites that feature browser-based interfaces (mostly using ASP) for inputting and maintaining data.   Worked primarily in the area of database development using Visual FoxPro and earlier versions of FoxPro for DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows95, and Windows NT platforms. Work was divided approximately 60/40 between development of new systems and maintenance of the 20+ systems used at Boeing. In support of this effort, also did work using Visual Basic and a wide variety of graphics applications.

  July 1985-August 1989
  
  Primary duty was the design and development of over 40 database systems for the purpose of inventory control, configuration management, parts tracking, personnel tracking, facilities scheduling, and other administrative applications. The majority of these systems were written in dBASE.
